Accordionist Igor Zavadsky was Released from Police Custody

 Accordionist Igor Zavadsky was released. This was announced by MP Mykola Knyazhytskyy.

Zavadsky was sentenced in 2014 to 13 years in prison for child sexual abuse. His release was made possible after the Kyiv Court of Appeal overturned the verdict, which Podolsky district court of Kyiv has been submitted previously.

It turned out that the case against the actor has serious disturbances in the first instance. Therefore, it was referred back for retrial

Reference. In 2012, against Zavadski,was opened a criminal case on charges of committing sexual offenses against minors. In March, he was arrested and detained. In November 2012, his manager, and his driver were charged with 11 episodes of sexual abuse and 1 episode of rape of minors.

July 10, 2014 he was found guilty and sentenced to 13 years in prison. His accomplices were given lesser sentences. None of the participants in the process admited their guilt.
