Limitation of the Maximum Size of Pensions of Judges Been Deemed Unconstitutional

The Constitutional Court of Ukraine ruled unconstitutional provisions of the Law of Ukraine "On the Judicial System and Status of Judges", which sets limits lifetime allowance retired judges. Head of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine Yuriy Baulin announced this decision, reports UNN.

"To declare not in conformity with the provisions of part three of Constitution of Ukraine, first paragraph, second, fourth, sixth, fifth part of Article 141 of the Law of Ukraine "On the Judicial System and Status of Judges" from July 7, 2010 №2453-VI and the provisions of section III, paragraph 5, "Final Provisions" of the Law of Ukraine "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine regarding the pension coverage" from March 2, 2015 № 213-VIII "in parts of the cancellation from June 1, 2015 the rules on the appointment of monthly life in accordance with the Law of Ukraine" On the Judicial System and Status of Judges" - Baulin said.
