Information about the mass refusal of police to ensure order during the march of equality, which will be held in the capital on June 12 does not correspond to reality. National police chief Khatia Dekanoidze informed about it during the briefing, reports UNN.

"Every policeman, who took the the oath, understands and recognizes his responsibility. This is our daily work - to protect our citizens ", - Dekanoidze said.

According to her, 6,000 law enforcement officers will be involved. At the same time, she asked citizens to report immediately the police about provocations or suspicious activities.

At the same time, the Chief of the National Police Department in Kyiv Andriy Kryschenko added that it was not planned to attract volunteer battalions to march Protection. Therefore, according to him, the statements of employees of battalion "Kyiv" that they are categorically against the participation in the event protection, have no basis.
